Min NUVARANDE arbetshäst Köpt något begagnad i början på 2005. Efter att PalmOne uppgraterade PALM OS till ver 5.5.8 under sommaren 2005 så går de program jag använder tämligen smärtfritt. Före denna uppgradering hade jag dagligen enormt många crasher och en massa väntetider. Såld 2007! PLUS för + snabb processor + flexibel stor färgskärm (vändbar) + bra batteritid (WLAN drar mycket) + stort RAMminne + LIFEDrive programmet som gör filflyttning till RAMminne och SD-kort mycket enkel + GRAFFITI 2 (med 0.99 hack) fungerar riktigt bra i T5:an (Graffiti 1 har sina poänger) + en NYKÖPT vagga förenklar livet + Wi-Fi kort är ett alternativ för WLAN MINUS för - att PALM snålar med att inte skicka med en vagga (Original HotSync kabel gör att T5:an syncas upp-och ner - saknar vibrator - RESEThålet kunde varit tillräckligt stort så pennan kunde användas för reset - borde haft internt WLAN (kortet sticker ut) - saknar Palm IIIxe fällbara plastlock för skärmen - befintligt flipplock fälls från VÄ sida och gör att man tappar lätt tappar T5:an. Locket är inte tillräckligt urskålat för knapparna vilket gör att när lock och PDA kläms i fickan så "knattrar" den hela tiden efter t.ex. att ett tidslarm aktiverats. |

Testar man många program, stabila som instabila, och tvingas göra en hard reset kommer Internalminnet raderas. Använd SD till detta ändamål istället! Slutord: Snabb Palm som klarar film och musik, har stor tydlig skärm, hyffsad batterikapacitet, generöst med minne och duglig som text- och kalkylredigerare. Helt klart Palms bästa handdator hittills. I mitt tycke ska Palm jobba vidare på detta OS, Garnet, för efter uppdateringen till T5 börjar det verkligen likna succé. Jag vill gärna ge den 10 i betyg men vissa saker saknas så det blir 9. |

PDA Buyer's Guide"A very nice Palm OS PDA. If you're a T3 user, you probably won't want to run out and upgrade, but if you're using an older, slower or lower resolution Palm, this is a worthy contender. It has a large, high resolution display, a very fast processor and plenty of memory. In addition it has an SD slot for memory and WiFi card expansion, Bluetooth and an MP3 player. Not bad. This is the first PDA with enough memory to hold a decent collection of MP3s, photos, short videos and PDF files without a memory expansion card."
The Gadgeteer"So, what's the bottom line on this PDA? I would have to say that my overall feeling is ho-hum when it comes to the T5. Yes, it has 256MB of memory which is nice, but SD cards are really cheap these days, so who cares. That said, the fact that the memory is non-volatile is a great feature. The only other halfway interesting feature is the USB mode which really doesn't give me any goose bumps. Why oh why couldn't this PDA have had OS 6 and WiFi built in?"

The big internal memory, the way it's partitioned as traditional Palm OS storage and as a solid-state drive, along with new tools to manage that capacity and connect more smoothly to host computers show PalmOne once again leading the development of the handheld.
